Tuesday, April 1st, 2008Yesterday saw the last passenger flight of Aloha Airlines, and today Hawaii is back to having two regional carriers.

Sunday, March 30th, 2008There will be no joking around this April 1st for Aloha Airlines employees and customers. Aloha will be running its final inter-island flights Monday, March 31st, 2008.
My Monthly Expenses

Airlines Update
Sunday, March 23rd, 2008Aloha Airlines is now up for sale. Financial backers have pulled out further support and Aloha is now in talks with possible buyers. Aloha repeatedly cited the increasing fuel costs as a reason for failing.
No Aloha for Airlines
Friday, March 21st, 2008Yesterday, Aloha Airlines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Courts. Aloha’s CEO blames the recent financial situation on “illegal actions of a competitor and other factors beyond [their] control”.
