Where’s the Cheapest Gas?
By JD Bluefield | April 13, 2008
Are you always asking yourself where is the cheapest gas? While looking for a new vehicle, I used Fueleconomy.gov to research the mpg on each vehicle I thought about buying. I recently noticed that they’ve added a section which links to sites which monitor the cheapest gas in your area.
Check out gasoline prices here. Click on your respective state and find the website that best represents your city or area.
You could do this, but prefer to just go to Costco, where the gas is consistently the cheapest in my neighborhood. I did this yesterday actually. Filled up the tank, then walked in and used my coupons to buy 20 bars of soap, large pack of soda and AllerClear (Costco’s generic-equivalent to Claritin).
There aren’t any where I live, but I’ve been told that Sam’s Clubs has similarly discounted members-only gas station at many of their warehouses.
